30 March 21 Boat Testing Sail

Time to test the boats
Test Sailing Day

After all the work of rigging yesterday, with wall to wall sunshine and light winds forecast, it’s time to launch and test the boats. John, Mike, Eric and Dave bravely volunteered.

Later on the wind did pick up to a Force 2 and we did get a decent sail with the Squibs heeling as we sailed between Normanton Church and the end of Hambleton Peninsula.

On Board Time Flies
Mike happy to be back on board and the breeze just starting to pick up.

Thanks to John and all the team for giving up two days to ensure the boats are ready for the start of Rutland Civil Service Sailing Club 2021-Sailing Season 1 April 21.

Now let’s go sailing

Now Let’s Go Sailing! See you on the water RCSSC members.
