A Christmas Eve Message from RCSSC

Proudly flying the RCSSC Flag

Outside its still dark and it cold and wet too brrrrr!!  As much as I love sailing, for me, it needs to be a bit warmer conditions to tempt me to get out there on the water at this time of year.

So here are a few ways you can stay in touch with sailing this Winter.

  1. Check out The Sports Channel 266 on Freeview with has lots of different sports including:and they were showing a preview – I watched sailing in on Lake Garda , World Championships in Aarhus, Denmark.  Its coming soon and you can find out more here https://sportschannelnetwork.co.uk
  2. There is another way you can get your sailing fix over the Winter of course, there is still plenty of sailors out there from Rutland Sailing Club braving the elements and racing.  Why not check out RSC Calendar now to see what’s happening at our parent club – fantastic views, great sailing to see and of course the bar and cafe are open at weekends.
  3. Contact some RCSSC / RSC sailing buddies and arrange a meet up at RSC. Perhaps even go for a walk round the boat park or beautiful Rutland Water and finish with a cuppa at the club.

I am sure you can think of lots of other ways too.

Less than a 100 sleeps until our sailing season starts.

In the meantime. to all our members, CSSC friends we wish you the Merriest of Christmas’s and  Very Happy New Sailing Year.

Let’s keeeeeeeeeep sailing!
