Chris Peck and Mike Threadgill speeding in Croatia

Looking at this image, it is hard to imagine that, not that long ago, Chris and Mike hadn’t learned how to sail – but look at them go now!!  Whoop! Whoop!

Mike joined RCSSC a few years ago and quickly got involved in the club and has said “I thought I could sail, but since joining RCSSC I have really learned how to sail and it shows, especially  when I go on my sailing holidays”.  Mike is now one of the leading helms in the club supporting other members to become helms, just like him.

Chris also soon got involved with RCSSC and became a regular sailor and member of the committee – Membership Officer and now Club Captain.  After passing her RYA Level 2 last year she had one final assessment to go, to be arranged later this year.

However, seeing the absolute bargain of a sailing holiday she joined member Mike Threadgill for a week’s sailing with Neilsons in Croatia and came away with great memories, sailed lots of types of boats but it appears she really enjoyed the Cat with Mike.

Great to see the pair of you enjoying your sailing!
