Want to know a secret?

Until recently I didn’t know Linda, Daisy, Sarah, Neil, Shane, Liam or Aisling – but it appears we have more in common than I first thought………..  read on to find out more.

Inspire Me 2018 CSSC

Looked at individually we are all very different people. These people do have a secret that joins them all together …..

Liam is a footie fan who wants to be able to play indoor footie without coming off after five minutes – he works in Yorkshire  Whoop! Whoop!

Neil lives in Wales and despite a broken neck aims to run a marathon  Whoop! Whoop!

Shane works at MoD Abbeywood which I know well and at the age of 50 is aiming to do an Iron Man Challenge  Whoop! Whoop!

Sarah works for HMRC as a lawyer and wants to do a headstand in Yoga – she also does Pilates  Whoop! Whoop!

Aisling is  30 and really putting herself in at the deep end aiming to do 60 wild water swims in 60 different locations

Me (Dave) I shall be 65 in May and I want to keeeeeep sailing and walking for as long as a I can and enjoy life.

The secret?  These are all ordinary people doing inspirational things as part of My Active with CSSC.

Actually there is.  We are all members of the CSSC and all responded to a call from CSSC for people to write a six week blog to inspire and encourage others, just like us, to get active.   Please take a few minutes to have a read – I found them inspiring.

And where does Linda and Daisy come into this?

Well they are there at CSSC co-ordinating this on CSSC members behalf.  The little but perfectly formed cogs, that make the big wheels go round and support our members to Get Active and more.  Thanks to all the team at CSSC – you are doing a great job.  Now stretch, arm high into the air, bend at the elbow and give yourself a well deserved pat on the back.  Great job!

Dear reader

I wonder if you could do me a huge kindness please?

In your next coffee break would you please click on the above  links for folks  for  these inspiring people and please leave a brief positive comment.  It’d be good to hear from you.   These people who have shared their stories, given up time to write blogs (I imagine like you, they are busy folks too).  They have certainly inspired me.

It won’t take you long, but my guess is a few kind words from you, will inspire them on to follow their dreams.  After all, every little helps.

Organised by CSSC

Thank you.

Dave
