Yorkshire comes to Rutland

Anyone who knows Rutland Civil Service Close will know our founder is Pete Shuttleworth, a Yorkshireman,  Last year Pete moved back up to Shipley Yorkshire where he is keeping himself busy refurbishing the house and now looking to start work on the outside.  So we don’t see him as often as we would like – but he’s always welcome back.

When Andrew Taylor, my friend from Otley, recently visited  and I took him for a sail with John Cranwell Ward aboard Time Flies our Soling and I asked him to send Pete a message.

The videos were taken on the veranda at Rutland Sailing Club poste sailing and we had a laugh doing this – I’ve included the rehearsal.  Thanks for being a sport Andrew and sorry the recent sail didn’t happen due to the weather conditions.

Hopefully we’ll get you and Pete down some time this year and …….  don’t forget you owe Pete a pint!
