“Believe me, my young friend, there is nothing – absolutely nothing – half so much worth doing as simply messing about in boats.”
― Kenneth Grahame, The Wind in the Willows.
As experienced today, Saturday 5th June, on Rutland Water where we were, for a while, the only boat on this wonderful 3000 acre lake.
Perfect weather, sun, blue skies and so peaceful! What a tonic after a terrible winter and spring.
